Each works independently and meets monthly. All Committee Chairs are members of the State Council, which meets bi-monthly.<\/p><ul><li>Action<\/li><li>Communications<\/li><li>Elections<\/li><li>Finance<\/li><li>Membership<\/li><li>Policy<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26f10bf elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"26f10bf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Understanding the Green Council (Executive Committee)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1669a58 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1669a58\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The state Executive Committee (Green Council) is comprised of the three co-Chairs, Secretary, and Treasurer (the &#8220;Officers&#8221; of the Party), and the Chair of each Standing Committee.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All officers are elected at the Annual Convention, and serve for terms of one (1) year beginning on June 1 and ending on May 31 the following year.<\/p>\n<p>Green Council meets twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month. All meetings are open to the public, with the exception being &#8220;closed sessions&#8221; which are not open for public participation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element
