| Reproductive choices, including but not limited to birth control, sterilization and abortion, are a private matter for an individual in consultation with her or his physician. It is inappropriate for government to inquire into or interfere with these private choices in any way.
If an individual is eligible for government-funded healthcare this funding should include funding for reproductive choices.
Note: This was originally written from a woman's perspective, but it occurred to
us that public funding for contraceptive counseling and vasectomies for men should also be part of the package. |
