On Sunday, April 11, 1999, the Green Party of New Jersey adopted the following resolution regarding the on-going war in Kosovo and its environs:
The Green Party of New Jersey calls for an immediate halt to the U.S.-NATO bombing campaign.
The Green Party of New Jersery calls for a return of civilian peace monitors to the Kosovo region, under the auspices of the U.N., who could maintain a presence until a political settlement is reached.
We call for sustained humanitarian relief for all people in Yugoslavia, of all ethnicities.
The Green Party condemns genocide taking place in the Balkans, in accordance with our principle of non-violence.
It is being suggested that Greens use this statement for a basis for letters to the editor. If you can keep the essence of the message you can sign it as Green Party endorsement, otherwise just sign your own name.
