Greetings,

Just a little better directions:

I would follow my directions instead of Mapquest's.  Mine are simpler.  SEE important note for entering the building in bold below!

Take the GSP to Exit 165, Ridgewood/Oradell. When you pay the toll at exit 165, first stay to the left and follow the signs for Ridgewood.  You will make a right onto a ramp about 1/4 of a mile or so after paying the toll.  At the top of the ramp is a Yield sign and you must go right onto Ridgewood Ave.  You will stay on this road for 2.8 miles.  After you are on Ridgewood Ave. for 7/10 of a mile you will see The Fashion Center and Lord & Taylor's on the left.  Stay straight on Ridgewood Ave (at some point Ridgewood Ave turns into East Ridgewood Ave.)  After passing The Fashion Center you will quickly come upon a two lane overpass that goes over Route 17.  You want to be in the left lane on this ramp since the right lane will force you onto 17 South.

After going over the ramp, continue to proceed on Ridgewood/E. Ridgewood Ave.  After you have gone 2.8 miles from the Yield sign after you got off the Parkway, make a right at the light onto N. Maple Ave. (Harding's Pharmacy and Liquor Store is on this corner).  Then go 1/10 of a mile and make a left at the light onto Franklin Ave.  Proceed 1/10 of a mile and make a right onto Cottage Place.  Then make a left into the Stop and Shop Supermarket parking lot and make a right in the lot and park against the back row.

Walk back to Cottage Place and make a left.  The Unitarian Society is 200 yards on the right hand side of Cottage Place.  113 Cottage Place.  Alongside the Unitarian building is a driveway and there is an entrance from the driveway into the Fellowship Room where we will be.  We should NOT use the front door (or the door on the other side of the building) because something else is scheduled for the main space.

PARKING:

**  As part of allowing the Ridgewood Stop and Shop to be built, the Unitarian Society made arrangements to allow for parking for its events against the back row at the Stop and Shop supermarket (about 50 spaces).

**  There is to be NO parking in the King's Supermarket parking lot. That privilege is only available after 6 p.m.

**  Very limited parking is available on the west side (southbound) side of Cottage Place. Additional parking is available at the Municipal Building/Library on Maple Ave. and at the Education Center on Cottage Place (both about a block away).

**  If need be, nearby there are metered lots, $0.25 per hour for up to 12 hours.  They are located off Franklin Ave past Cottage Place.  But meters should not be necessary.
