Mark Heacock, who grew up in
Audubon and now resides in Haddon Heights, has been active in politics
since the late 1970s. A professional house painter for 27 years, he twice
ran for the Woodlynne Borough Council as a Green Party candidate,
including receiving 33 percent of the vote in 2003.
A divorced father of three, he has
coached baseball, lacrosse and hockey youth teams as well as serving as a
baseball umpire and a hockey official. He is a past president of the
Woodlynne Little League.
Mark Heacock is a graduate of
Audubon High School and he attended Cook College-Rutgers University and
Glassboro State University. He has been a member of the Green Party of New
Jersey since 2002 and was a delegate to the 2004 national convention.
He
and Richard L. Giovanoni also ran for State Assembly in 2005.
